Nasal aspirate with blood

Nasal sputum aspiration with blood, mainly refers to the nose in the back of the inhalation, there is a large amount of sputum secretion and blood vessel rupture bleeding. It is more common to have chronic sinusitis, acute episodes of rhinitis, acute rhinitis, sinusitis, and also seen in less common nasal space-occupying lesions, such as nasopharyngeal carcinoma. Clinically, head CT or nasopharyngeal endoscopy can be detected, and if there is a space-occupying lesion, a biopsy can be taken to do a pathological examination to clarify its nature. If it is simple inflammatory infection, antibiotics can be chosen if bacterial infection, such as clindamycin, penicillin, metronidazole, ofloxacin, erythromycin and so on. If it is clear that it is malignant tumor of nasopharyngeal carcinoma, it should be treated with radiotherapy and chemotherapy as well as surgery mainly at an early stage.
