The sequelae of otolithiasis are mainly vertigo, the treatment can be psychological therapy, vestibular training, postural therapy, if necessary, anti-vertigo drugs, and other therapies can be used when the effect is not satisfactory surgical therapy. 1. Psychotherapy: publicize and educate the patients, point out to them that this disease is a benign process without serious sequelae, eliminate their fears and doubts, and reduce their psychological burden. 2. Vestibular training: to enhance the patient’s tolerance to vertigo, such as habitual training. 3. Postural therapy: the purpose is to train the patient to increase the adaptability to the change of position, instructing him to lie sideways to one side from the sitting position, resume the sitting position, and then lie sideways to the other side from the sitting position, alternately, once every three hours. 4. If necessary, anti-vertigo drugs such as flunarizine can be used. 5. If long-term conservative treatment is ineffective, vestibular neurectomy can be taken. If there is any discomfort, it is recommended to actively consult a doctor to standardize medication and treatment.
