Thyroid nodules with grade 4a are mainly solid nodules with regular shape and no abnormal calcification foci. These nodules are mildly malignant, but the ultrasound probe can be affected by surrounding tissue artifacts, so the results are not completely accurate. The next step is for the patient to undergo a fine needle aspiration under ultrasound guidance in the nail and breast department to further determine the nature of the nodule. Based on the results, the doctor will know the benignity of the nodule and the degree of malignancy, and will choose the appropriate treatment.
