Umbilical cord sound is mostly caused by the blood circulation in the umbilical cord, the sound is relatively miscellaneous, showing irregular form, through the monitor or equipment usually appear whirring sound, but the sound is relatively unclear.

In the hospital checkup, whether you hear the sound of the fetal heart or umbilical cord, the normal fetal heart rate will be 110 to 160 beats per minute, which is within the normal range indicating that the fetus is in a healthy state.
