What is the dosage of acetaminophen for children

Acetaminophen is 10-15 mg/kg per dose and can be used 4-5 times a day. Acetaminophen is a very safe antipyretic, mainly for infants and children older than 3 months of age. Oral antipyretics should also be given promptly when the body temperature is greater than or equal to 38.5°C, or when the child is not in good spirits because of the fever, although it does not reach 38.5°C. The appropriate dose is usually given orally according to body weight, and appropriate hydration is given to avoid dehydration of the baby due to fever.
