Is there a cure for precancerous cervical lesions?

Cervical precancerous lesions can improve the quality of life and most of them can be cured if they receive regular treatment in time. Pre-cancerous cervical lesion refers to the long process from HPV infection to cervical cancer. According to the level of epithelium involved in the lesion, it can be classified into 3 grades, among which most of grade I lesions can be naturally receded and reversed; while grade II and above need timely treatment, which may lead to cure, but with a certain rate of recurrence, and the commonly used treatments are cervical conization and total hysterectomy. Timely treatment can effectively prevent further progression of the disease, so as not to develop into cervical cancer. However, regular gynecological checkups and colposcopies should be carried out in order to monitor the recurrence of the disease.
