What causes frequent nosebleeds in children

Frequent nosebleeds in children may be related to bad habits, malnutrition, deviated septum, rhinitis and other reasons.

1. Bad habits: children’s nasal mucosa is relatively fragile, if often picking the nose, nails or other foreign objects will be the nasal mucosa injury, and thus often nosebleeds.

2. Malnutrition: If a child is picky about food or has a single diet for a long time, the body will lack vitamins or minerals, resulting in malnutrition, decreased resistance can also lead to frequent nosebleeds.

3. Deviated septum: If you have a deviated septum, the mucous membrane in the place where the deviation occurs is weak, which can easily lead to frequent nosebleeds.

4. Rhinitis: When suffering from rhinitis, the mucous membrane at the front of the nasal septum is eroded and bleeds, which can easily lead to frequent nosebleeds.

Children with frequent nosebleeds are advised to go to the hospital in time to see a doctor to clarify the cause of the disease and then give the correct treatment.
