What is punctate psoriasis?

Symptoms of pitting psoriasis at the early stage of the disease: small red dots or red papules will appear all over the body or locally, and a small amount of white scales will be visible on the surface of the lesions, and some patients will experience itchy symptoms of varying degrees of self-consciousness. If we do not pay attention to the drippy psoriasis and treat it in time, the red dots will rapidly increase and spread within three to four months, greatly increasing the difficulty of treatment. Some patients with pitting psoriasis have an acute onset, with red papules or macules developing rapidly and spreading all over the body within a few days, with scattered lesions in the form of droplets covered with a few scales and lesions, accompanied by varying degrees of itching. Acute punctate psoriasis is often preceded by septic tonsillitis or a cold or fever. If the punctate psoriasis is caused by persistent symptoms of pharyngitis, cephalosporins and erythromycin can be taken under the guidance of a doctor during treatment. However, this type does not need to be treated by drip injection, and the use of “pine” hormones is strictly prohibited, otherwise it will recur and be more difficult to cure. Patients are reminded that topical medication for psoriasis only temporarily relieves the symptoms of psoriasis and cannot fundamentally cure it. So in order to cure punctate psoriasis, it is better for patients to choose Chinese medicine treatment.
