What is the pain in the chest?

Recurrent pain in the chest needs to be treated in hospital, which may be caused by angina pectoris of coronary heart disease, gallbladder stones combined with gallbladder inflammation or acute gastritis or gastric ulcer. The pain is mainly located in the posterior part of the sternum and may radiate to the precordial area and the left upper limb, and often occurs during labor or emotional excitement. Gallbladder stones combined with inflammation of the gallbladder can also manifest as pain in the subxiphoid process and upper abdomen, which can be examined by hepatobiliary ultrasound. In acute gastritis or gastric ulcer, pain may also appear in the subxiphoid process, and the pain may be severe and sometimes prolonged, so gastroscopy is needed to clarify the pain.
