What to do if you vomit during your period

Women who experience vomiting during menstruation may often need to take metoclopramide or vitamin B6 specifically for symptomatic antiemetic treatment. Other women who experience vomiting due to particularly severe menstrual cramps may require specialized antiemetic treatment, such as oral ibuprofen extended-release capsules or diclofenac sodium. In some women, menstrual cramps are particularly severe during menstruation, and the pain may lead to nausea and vomiting, so women with severe vomiting may also need to be treated with intramuscular painkillers, such as atropine, to relieve the pain.
