What is the dosage of Buddha’s hand citron formula

Buddha’s hand is usually dosed around 3 to 10 grams at a time and citron is usually dosed around 3 to 6 grams at a time. Buddha’s hand has the effects of relieving liver stagnation (treating depression by unblocking the liver’s qi), regulating qi and harmonizing the middle (regulating the qi of the spleen and stomach so as to make the functions of the spleen and stomach smooth), and drying dampness and resolving phlegm (removing phlegm from the body by drying dampness with medicines). Buddha’s hand can be used for liver depression and stagnation of qi (poor qi and blood transportation of the liver, emotional depression) and liver-stomach disharmony (disharmony between the ascending liver and descending stomach and internal organs) of the chest and hypochondrium (collectively referred to as the thoracic and ribcage areas) distension and pain, epigastric (abdominal) plumping (stomach distention and discomfort), stagnation of qi in spleen and stomach of the epigastric distension and pain, vomiting, poor appetite and coughing with excessive phlegm for long periods of time. Caution should be taken when there is deficiency of yin and heat, and when there is deficiency of qi and no stagnation. Citron has the efficacy of dispersing the liver and relieving depression, regulating Qi and harmonizing the middle, drying dampness and resolving phlegm, and can be used for chest and hypochondrium distension and pain due to liver depression, epigastric distension and pain due to stagnation of Qi, phlegm (a pathological product of impaired metabolism of water and fluid) and coughing, and disadvantage of the chest and diaphragm. Caution should be taken when there is heat in Yin deficiency. Buddha’s Hand and Citron are often used together and can be used to treat conditions such as stagnation of Qi in the liver and stomach, stomach distension and discomfort, vomiting, pain in the chest and ribs, etc. It can also be taken together with medicines for dispersing the liver and regulating Qi (regulating stagnation of Qi in the liver), activating blood circulation and removing blood stasis (promoting blood circulation and eliminating stagnation of blood in the body). If there is a need for medication, it is recommended to consult a doctor in a timely manner and follow the doctor’s instructions, do not blindly use medication on your own.
