Catching the Alarm “Signs” of Testicular Tumors

The incidence of testicular tumors accounts for about 1% of the incidence of male malignant tumors, but the vast majority of them are malignant. Testicular tumors, with insidious onset and vicious condition, are mostly found in young and middle-aged men aged 20 to 45. Once onset, if not treated in time, it will spread and metastasize soon, which is life-threatening. Therefore, early detection and active treatment is the key to cure testicular tumor. Testicular tumor is certainly abominable, but as long as it is detected at an early stage and active and effective treatment measures are taken, most of it can be cured. Testicular tumors are cunning and do not show obvious symptoms in early stage, but as the saying goes, “If you want people to know, unless you do not do it”, since the tumor cells are rampant in testicles for a while, they will always show the traces. Therefore, testicular tumor will have some signals in the early stage. 1, testicular enlargement: this kind of enlargement is mostly found unintentionally when taking a bath or changing clothes, or the scrotum is hit by some kind of mild injury, and it is found when caressing locally. Most of the enlarged testicles are not accompanied by pain, and localized pressure on it does not feel pain, and occasionally there can be hidden pain. However, there is always a feeling of swelling in the testicles in the scrotum. 2, testicular hardness: feel like a stone, hard texture, which is a significant difference with the ordinary testicular inflammation testicle is uniformly swollen and the texture is not hard. Heavy feeling of testicle: As testicular tumor is formed by massive growth of tumor cells, it is a substantial lump, after growing to a certain extent, the weight of testicle increases suddenly, and the patient will have a heavy feeling of falling, even affecting walking. If the testicle is lifted up by hand, it is like holding a stone with a certain sense of weight. 4.Acute testicular pain: one day, the testicle on the diseased side suddenly experiences severe pain, just like the testicular torsion lesion, which is caused by the sudden hemorrhage, embolism and ischemic necrosis of the testicular tumor tissue. Negative transillumination test: In general, the transillumination of scrotum and testicle will be enhanced when there is syringomyelia, and the transillumination test will be positive. However, testicular tumor grows densely and solidly, and there is no liquid inside, so the light transmission will be greatly weakened. When the above symptoms appear, they should be diagnosed and treated urgently, and should not avoid medical treatment and delay the condition. 6.Acute abdominal pain: the higher position of testicular tumor can reflexively cause lower abdominal pain due to downward hanging and pulling nerve. Especially the cryptorchid testis located in the abdominal cavity, in case of malignant transformation, accompanied by testicular torsion at the same time, acute abdominal pain can be very serious. 7, Gynecomastia: Inexplicable breast enlargement may be caused by testicular tumor, such as embryonal carcinoma, chorionic epithelial carcinoma, teratocarcinoma and other tumors, which will produce a large amount of gonadotropins, and this kind of hormone increases in the body, which can stimulate the enlargement of breasts. Infertility: Testicular tumors, especially even reproductive tumors, will destroy the sperm-making mechanism in testicles and cause infertility. It can be seen that some symptoms of testicular tumors are very peculiar, some of them are sound, but most of the testicles themselves will have some changes, so the focus should be on the testicles to capture these “signals”. In addition, many testicular tumors are transformed from cryptorchidism. For those who suffer from cryptorchidism, even though they have undergone surgical treatment, sometimes the testicles may still be damaged or underdeveloped, and there is still the possibility of deterioration into testicular tumors, so they should pay more attention to the signs of testicular tumors.
