Why no sex drive after childbirth

For women who give birth in normal labor, if they do not have sexual desire after delivery, there are two possibilities: 1) the vaginal wall is loose after delivery, so there is no obvious sexual excitement during intercourse, which will lead to low sexual desire; 2) women who breastfeed after delivery, the ovaries do not produce enough estrogen and progesterone, so it will also lead to low sexual desire, and there are also symptoms of vaginal dryness and reduced secretions. For women who have terminated their pregnancies by caesarean section, the main consideration is that the secretion of lactogen after delivery inhibits the endocrine function of the ovaries, resulting in the majority of women not having a significant libido during the breastfeeding period, and waiting until their menstruation resumes after their libido gradually increases.
