Location and effects of Qihai point Guanyuan point

Qihai point is located in the lower abdomen, 1.5 inches below the middle of the umbilicus and on the anterior midline; it has the effects of warming the spleen and kidney, inducing diuresis and lymphatic drainage, regulating menstruation and stopping leucorrhoea (regulating menstruation and reducing abnormally increased leucorrhoea). Guanyuan point is located in the lower abdomen, 3 inches below the umbilicus and on the anterior midline; it has the effects of tonifying the kidney and cultivating vitality, warming the yang and fixing defecation.
Qihai acupoint is used for treating deficiency, emaciation, fatigue, failure to transform water and grains, pain around the umbilicus, diarrhea, dysentery, constipation, dysuria, dysuria (unsmooth urination), and enuresis.
Guanyuan acupoint is used for treating pain in the lower abdomen, diarrhea, dysentery, prolapse of anus, blood in stool, blood in urine, urinary closure, frequent urination, spermatorrhea, impotence, premature ejaculation, leucorrhoea (turbidity of urine like white pulp), menstrual disorders, dysmenorrhea, amenorrhea, menstrual leakage (menstruation that is too heavy or not stopping at any point), hyperemesis gravidarum, yin ting (prolapsed uterus of a woman or even out of the vaginal opening), and so on.
