What causes swollen hands?

What is the most common cause of hand swelling is trauma, infection, allergy, fracture and so on.
1. Trauma: If the patient’s hand is traumatized, the local soft tissues, including tendons and ligaments, etc., may produce an inflammatory reaction after the injury, which may lead to swelling and pain in the hand.
2. Infection: If the patient’s hand is infected by bacteria, resulting in local inflammation, it is easy to cause redness, swelling and pain in the hand.
3. Allergy: if the patient has contact dermatitis, the skin of the hand comes into contact with the primary irritant, the skin of the hand will produce acute and chronic inflammatory reaction, showing itching, swelling and pain.
4. Fracture: If the patient’s hand is fractured by trauma, the fracture site will secrete many inflammatory factors, resulting in impaired tissue fluid reflux, which will cause localized edema.
