What does AMH mean?

AMH is the anti-Müllerian hormone and is an important indicator to evaluate whether the ovarian reserve function is normal. The normal value of anti-Müllerian tube hormone varies with age and is generally in the range of 2.5-6.3ng/ml at the age of 30 and below, dropping to 1.88-6.08ng/ml at the age of 31-35, to 1.71-5.3ng/ml at the age of 36-40, to 0.78-3.56ng/ml at the age of 41-45, and to 0.76-2.8ng/ml at the age of 46 and above. The lower the anti-Müllerian hormone level, the lower the reserve function of the ovaries. The test for anti-Müllerian hormone is not affected by the menstrual cycle or the menstrual period and is usually performed in a fasting state.
