3. Periapical inflammation: mostly caused by incomplete endodontic treatment or tooth trauma, which can be manifested as toothache and biting pain, etc. It is necessary to open the pulp for drainage and give metronidazole treatment to control the infection and then take root canal treatment.
4. Other: such as alveolar or periodontal abscess, mostly caused by the tooth itself or periodontal tissue and other diseases that occur when the infection is not controlled in time. When the abscess is immature in the early stage, chlorhexidine gargle can be used locally to inhibit bacteria, and antibiotics such as cefaclor and amoxicillin can be applied under the guidance of the doctor for treatment if necessary. Later, when the abscess is mature, incision and drainage should be taken to drain out the pus.
