How to deal with mature acne

Mature pimples may be caused by acne, folliculitis, boils and other diseases, and need to be treated with medication, physical therapy and surgery to deal with the cause.
1. Acne: patients need to use topical adapalene gel, retinoic acid cream and other retinoic acid drugs, as well as benzoyl peroxide, azelaic acid cream and other drugs under the guidance of a doctor, if there is a bacterial infection, you need to follow the doctor’s instructions to use erythromycin, clindamycin and other antibiotics. For severe cases, glucocorticosteroids such as prednisone and dexamethasone should be used as prescribed by the doctor.
For mild and moderate acne patients, you need to take photodynamic therapy, laser therapy and other physical therapy.
2. Folliculitis: patients need to follow the doctor’s instructions to use povidone-iodine solution, povidone-iodine solution and other antibacterial lotions. If the bacterial infection, need to follow the doctor’s instructions for external use of fusidic acid cream, erythromycin ointment and other antibiotics; if the fungal infection, need to follow the doctor’s instructions for the use of ketoconazole cream, terbinafine cream and other antifungal drugs. At the same time, far infrared radiation can be taken to assist in the treatment.
3. Boils: Generally, when the boils are not suppurating, patients need to use 20% ichthyol ointment, 3% iodine tincture, or mupirocin ointment, gentamycin ointment and other antibiotic drugs as prescribed by the doctor.
If the lesions are large, or local treatment is ineffective, you need to follow the doctor’s prescription oral azithromycin, amoxicillin, ceftriaxone and other antibiotics. For boils that have become pus-filled and ruptured, incision and drainage is required.
It is recommended that patients with mature acne go to the hospital in time and follow the doctor’s instructions to standardize the treatment, do not self-medication.
