What happened when I didn’t have a period for two months after the miscarriage?

If there is no menstruation for two months after miscarriage, there are the following possibilities: 1) cervical and uterine adhesions; 2) endometrial damage; 3) menstrual disorders; 4) the possibility of another pregnancy cannot be excluded. In order to make a clear diagnosis, go to the hospital promptly and firstly take blood for blood chorionic gonadotropin, if the value is normal, rule out another pregnancy. An ultrasound will be done to determine if there are any uterine adhesions, the thickness of the endometrium and, if necessary, a gynecological examination to find out the size and position of the uterus, if there is any tenderness, if the cervical canal is thickened and so on. If the diagnosis of uterine adhesions is confirmed, hysteroscopic exploration is recommended to separate the uterine adhesions under hysteroscopy. If cervical adhesions are considered, it is recommended to give dilation. If the endometrium is very thin, it is possible that the endometrium is damaged due to miscarriage, or the estrogen level is low due to ovarian hypofunction.
