The vast majority of patients will recover within 2-3 days after a patient has had a small needle knife treatment. Because needle knife treatment is a very minimally invasive procedure, this treatment can cause localized subcutaneous bleeding, but recovery is very quick. Although patients are able to get up and move around immediately after the treatment, the doctor will order a period of braking, rest, and avoid pressure on the wound, mainly to prevent subcutaneous bleeding within the wound. Most patients will recover well after 2-3 days of rest and braking. Of course, some patients with relatively poor coagulation function, which is not a contraindication to surgery, will have localized subcutaneous hematomas, which will require targeted compression of the wound and the use of ice for cold compresses. Even so, the vast majority of such patients will have a significant recovery within 2-3 days.
