The treatment of uterine fibroids is mainly considered in two aspects: 1. Non-surgical treatment: it can be treated by some medicines. Since the emergence of uterine fibroids is considered to be related to estrogen, most of the medicines are considered to be androgens or medicines that have the effect of inhibiting estrogen, but all of these may bring certain side effects. The use of androgens, for example, produces masculinized manifestations, so they are not very commonly used. Generally, uterine fibroids are benign tumors, if not surgical treatment, can be taken to continue to observe the treatment, drug treatment is not very common treatment options; 2, surgical treatment: mainly depends on the type of fibroids, i.e., the location of the fibroid growth, the size of the fibroids to decide the surgical method. If it is submucous fibroid, usually less than 5cm, hysteroscopic surgery can be taken; if it is bigger, laparoscopic or open surgery may still be needed. Open or laparoscopic surgery is the so-called minimally invasive surgery.
