How long does it take to miscarry spontaneously without a fetal heartbeat?

In the absence of a fetal heartbeat, spontaneous abortion usually occurs in three to five days, but women are generally advised to intervene manually. However, the time of spontaneous abortion is not fixed because each person’s health is different. The absence of a fetal heart may be caused when a pregnant woman is exposed to toxic chemicals or influencing factors such as radiation during pregnancy. Therefore, it is generally recommended that in cases of embryonic abortion and absence of a fetal heartbeat, manual intervention should be performed as soon as possible to clear the uterus rather than waiting for a spontaneous abortion. However, it must be determined that the absence of fetal heartbeat is due to embryonic abortion and not to late implantation. Therefore, the patient needs to consult the obstetrics and gynecology department for a review of chorionic gonadotropin and progesterone and ultrasound to determine if the absence of fetal heartbeat is due to embryonic abortion, and then proceed to the next step of treatment. In addition, for women after miscarriage, it is important to take rest and not to overexert to avoid leaving the root of the disease.
