Difference between renal ischemia and insufficient renal blood supply

The difference between renal ischemia and renal blood supply insufficiency lies in the presence or absence of systemic blood volume deficiency.
1. Renal ischemia is when the blood volume of the organism is sufficient to supply to the organs and tissues to complete the metabolism. If there are pathological factors, such as stenosis of the renal artery, tumors compressing the blood vessels or renal tissues, etc., the blood flow to the kidneys decreases, and the ischemic manifestation occurs.
2. Insufficient renal blood supply, such as hemorrhage, severe heart failure, severe vomiting and diarrhea, etc., the effective circulating blood volume of the body is reduced, and the blood supply to the kidneys will be reduced accordingly.
Both renal ischemia and insufficient renal blood supply will lead to renal parenchymal injury, and creatinine and urea will be elevated after exceeding the compensatory capacity of the kidney, which can be progressively aggravated if not actively treated.
People with renal ischemia and renal blood supply insufficiency are recommended to go to the hospital and be treated under the guidance of a doctor.
