A fat attenuation value of 263 does not result in an increased liver stiffness index. The normal fat attenuation value is around 240, and the fat attenuation degree located at 240~265 suggests that there may be mild fatty liver, which means that there is greater than 5% fat deposition on the surface of the liver. Fatty attenuation between 265 and 295 is considered moderate fatty liver, and fat attenuation greater than 295 is considered severe fatty liver. The degree of fatty liver attenuation is a value to be tested when checking liver elastic fiber measurement, and usually does not cause patients to have abnormal liver elastic fiber measurement index. The normal liver stiffness index is 2.4 to 7.4 kPa, greater than 7.5 kPa considers the presence of liver fibrosis, and greater than 12.5 does not exclude cirrhosis. If fatty liver is detected, it is recommended to consult the gastroenterology department of a regular hospital.
