The auricular points for treating frozen shoulder are shoulder auricular point and clavicle auricular point. Frozen shoulder, also known as “frozen shoulder” or “fifty shoulders”, is a chronic inflammatory disease of the shoulder joint capsule and its surrounding ligaments, tendons and bursa, which is characterized by pain in the shoulder, which gradually worsens and is worse at night, with limited shoulder joint movement. The main manifestation of the disease is limitation of shoulder joint function. Acupuncture and moxibustion can be applied to shoulder auricular point and clavicle auricular point to relieve the treatment. Shoulder auricular points are located at the lower part of the elbow area, i.e., the position of ear boat 4 and 5, and are mainly used for treating periarthritis of the shoulder and shoulder pain. The clavicle auricular acupuncture point is located at the lower part of the shoulder area, i.e., at zone 6 of the auricular boat, and is used for treating periarthritis of the shoulder. Usually the stimulation methods used for acupuncture ear points are more, and the main methods commonly used in clinical practice at present are millimetre needle method, buried needle method, pressure pill method, blood-stabbing method, and acupoint injection method. Note that acupuncture should be operated by a professional physician, not unauthorized operation. At the same time, the use of auricular acupuncture method after acupuncture, such as redness and swelling of the needle hole, should be promptly coated with iodine volts disinfection.
