Cholesterol polyps in the gallbladder, in clinical experience, are most often seen in patients with multiple polyps in the gallbladder. This is the clinical experience of diagnosing gallbladder polyps, but a specific type of gallbladder polyp needs to be diagnosed after surgical removal of the gallbladder and after pathologic examination. For cholesterol polyps, or multiple polyps, can consider taking Yusifo, which is imported ursodeoxycholic acid capsule in normal times, active treatment for about 1-3 months to observe, if after a period of treatment, the gallbladder polyp becomes smaller or disappears, it is recommended that the patient continue to take for 2-3 months, the gallbladder polyp will be positively cured. In addition, for some patients with gallbladder polyps less than 1cm, they can continue to observe for half a year or 1 year to review the upper abdominal ultrasound observation. If the gallbladder polyp is more than 1cm, we should actively consider surgical treatment, the first choice is laparoscopic cholecystectomy. After laparoscopic cholecystectomy, routine pathologic examination should be done to see the nature of the patient’s gallbladder polyps, and the possibility of other lesions in the gallbladder.
