Shenmen acupoint is at the ulnar end of the transverse stripe on the distal side of the palm of the wrist, the radial edge of the ulnar flexor tendon of the wrist, it has the efficacy of clearing the heart and draining heat, tranquilizing the spirit and opening the orifices, and it can treat palpitations (heartbeat accelerated, often accompanied by panic), insomnia, dazed, forgetfulness, heart pain and other heart and spirit disorders.
