Sleeping with headphones is harmful to the ears

Patients wearing headphones while sleeping may cause some harm to their ears. If you wear headphones while sleeping to listen to music or other audio stories, you may be able to fall asleep on your own without realizing it, without being able to turn off the sound in the headphones in time, causing the patient to be stimulated by the sound in the headphones for a long time during the whole night’s sleep, which may cause damage to the function of the inner ear. For a short period of time, patients may not experience any specific symptoms, but if they continue for a longer period of time, they may experience gradually increasing sensorineural hearing loss or tinnitus. These symptoms are often difficult to treat and improve effectively and require preventive measures.
