Which three drugs are used in the triple therapy for H. pylori

Triple therapy treatment is mainly used to treat diseases that test positive for H. pylori, such as H. pylori-associated gastritis and peptic ulcer. The main drugs in the treatment plan are antibiotics and proton pump inhibitors, which play the role of bactericidal and acid suppression respectively. esomeprazole, omeprazole, lansoprazole, pantoprazole, rabeprazole, and eprazole. In addition to the triple regimen, a quadruple regimen with bismuth is also advocated, i.e., one proton pump inhibitor, two antibiotics and one bismuth agent. Bismuth has a protective effect on the gastric mucosa, and the commonly used ones are bismuth potassium citrate and bismuth pectin. The common tests for H. pylori are carbon 13 or carbon 14 urea breath test and rapid urease test, if the test result is positive, anti-H. pylori treatment is needed as soon as possible.
