Itchy glans coronalis with white dirt is overwhelmingly caused by foreskin scale, and may also be due to glansitis of the foreskin. It is recommended that the patient should turn the foreskin over every day and wash the white dirt off to observe if the symptoms improve and the itching is relieved. If itching still occurs after washing the foreskin dirt off, the dirt from the coronal groove should be taken for a smear test to check whether it is a bacterial infection or a mycotic infection. If it is a bacterial infection, clean the area and apply erythromycin. If it is a mycotic infection, clean it and apply Dacrynicin topically. With the above measures, most patients’ symptoms can return to normal in five days.
