A lisfanc injury is an injury to the tarsometatarsal joint. Rehabilitation training includes joint mobility training and local muscle strength training.
1. After tarsometatarsal joint injury, patients should elevate the affected limbs and apply ice packs at the first time to facilitate the blood circulation of the lower limbs and eliminate the swelling, and then perform toe flexion and extension activities without weight-bearing, straight-leg raising training and ankle joint mobility training within 2 weeks to prevent joint stiffness and muscle atrophy caused by braking.
2. Within 4 to 6 weeks after tarsometatarsal joint injury, toe activities, straight leg raising and ankle joint activities can be continued.
3. After 2~3 months of tarsometatarsal joint injury, partially weight-bearing walking can be carried out under the protection of braces, paying attention to the gradual progress, and the activity time should not be too long at the beginning.
4. 3~6 months after tarsometatarsal joint injury, the patient can walk with full weight bearing under the protection of arch pads until it returns to normal.
Patients need to carry out rehabilitation training under the guidance of doctors to avoid secondary injuries caused by improper self-exercise.
