Deer antler, Epimedium, Cistanchis and Cuscuta can be used together in water. However, the effect of soaking in water is not the same as that of traditional Chinese medicine, which usually needs to be decocted. Deer antler, Epimedium, Cistanchis and Semen Cuscutae all belong to the category of Chinese herbs. According to Chinese medicine, all four medicines have the effect of tonifying the kidneys and strengthening the yang (the effect of tonifying the kidneys and yang), and benefiting the essence and blood. These four medicines are mainly used in the treatment of kidney yang deficiency (lack of yang energy in the kidneys), deficiency of essence and blood resulting in impotence and premature ejaculation, infertility, fear of cold, lumbar and knee soreness and weakness (a feeling of soreness and weakness in the lumbar and knee areas), cold hands and feet, clear and long urine, and excessive nocturnal urination. The use of Chinese herbal medicines in water may easily result in the active ingredients not being able to be fully soaked out, resulting in poor therapeutic effect of the medicines. It should be noted that it is not suitable for people with solid heat syndrome (meaning exuberant evil fire) and yin deficiency fire (deficiency of yin essence in the body and the appearance of hyperactive deficiency fire). The above medicines are recommended to be decocted and should not be used on their own. If there is any discomfort, it is recommended to go to the hospital for medical treatment in time. It is best to take the above medicines under the guidance of traditional Chinese medicine practitioners for rational use to avoid adverse reactions.
