Before taking the primary impression, we hope that the mucous membrane inside the patient’s mouth will not be significantly broken, and that there will not be particularly obvious inflammation. The primary impression is routinely taken from a tray without teeth (dentition), and the alginate primary impression is prepared. When the primary impression is taken, the key anatomical structures are taken into place, and the primary impression with the orthognathic tray is sent to the technician, who will then make a more detailed and personalized temporary tray. When the second fine impression is taken, the temporal tray is first tried on and adjusted so that the edges do not extend too far, then the active muscle function is reshaped on the temporal tray, and finally a fine impression is made with the silicone rubber light body, which is the two impression sessions of the adsorptive denture.
