Who is Dulaglutide for?

Dulaglutide promotes insulin secretion and is primarily indicated for glycemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes. Dulaglutide is a human glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonist that promotes insulin secretion and also inhibits glucagon secretion and delays gastric emptying. It is used alone in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus who have poor glycemic control with dietary control and exercise alone, or in combination with drugs such as metformin in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus who have poor glycemic control based on diet and exercise. The most common adverse reactions to this product are gastrointestinal reactions such as diarrhea, nausea, and vomiting. It is contraindicated in patients who are allergic to this product, in patients with a personal past medical history or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma, or in patients with multiple endocrine adenoma syndrome type 2. It is recommended to decide whether to use the drug according to the condition after diagnosis by a physician.
