Malignant tumors originating from mesenchymal tissue (including connective tissue and muscle) are called “sarcomas”. They occur in the skin, subcutis, periosteum and ends of long bones. Fibrosarcoma, osteosarcoma, smooth muscle tumor, lymphosarcoma, synovial sarcoma and so on. Sarcoma belongs to malignant tumor lesions, and blood line metastasis can occur at an early stage. Sarcoma can be treated by surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy and targeted drug therapy, and there is no so-called rapid elimination method. 1. Surgery: Surgery is the best and effective treatment for sarcoma, in general, the cutting edge should be larger than the edge of the tumor by 3~5cm, and at the same time, the fascia which is deep into the muscle should be removed completely. 2. Chemotherapy: preoperative and postoperative chemotherapy is feasible, but the effective rate is not high and the side effects are big. 3. Local radiotherapy: some patients with sarcoma can be treated with radiotherapy selectively, but the efficiency is low, and the efficacy is even worse once the lungs are metastasized. 4. Targeted drug therapy: Sorafenib and Sunitinib are common targeted drugs for treating sarcoma, which can inhibit tumor growth by inhibiting intracellular signaling pathway and prevent tumor neovascularization. It is suggested that patients should go to the hospital for examination in time, and carry out symptomatic treatment under the guidance of doctors, meanwhile, patients should also keep good mentality and actively cooperate with doctors for treatment.
