Sinking incense has the effect of moving qi and relieving pain (relieving pain by regulating the body’s qi), warming the spleen and stomach to stop vomiting (treating vomiting caused by stomach cold by warming the spleen and stomach); sandalwood has the effect of moving qi and warming the middle, opening up the stomach and relieving pain; and descending incense has the effect of stopping bleeding, relieving pain, and so on.
Sinking incense is a traditional Chinese medicine, pungent, bitter, slightly warm in nature, belonging to the spleen, stomach, kidney meridian, has the effect of moving qi and relieving pain, warming to stop vomiting, naturing qi and calming asthma (astringent qi to alleviate coughing and wheezing), mainly used for the treatment of chest and abdominal distension and pain, vomiting and hiccups (hiccups) caused by stomach cold, and asthma caused by kidney deficiency and qi retrogression. It should be taken with caution in cases of yin deficiency and fire exuberance, as well as in cases of qi deficiency and subsidence.
Sandalwood is pungent in flavor, warm in nature, and belongs to the spleen, stomach, heart and lung meridians. It can be used to treat cold condensation and stagnation of Qi, chest pain, abdominal pain, stomach pain with little food; coronary heart disease, angina pectoris. Yin deficiency and fire, with blood to cause coughing, use with caution.
Descending flavor is pungent and warm in nature, belonging to the liver and spleen meridians, with the effect of promoting qi and blood circulation, relieving pain and bleeding, used for epigastric (abdominal) pain, liver depression and coercive pain (coercive and rib pain), thoracic paralysis and stabbing pain, fall and flutter injuries, traumatic injury and bleeding.
