Children’s sleep sweating may be physiologic or pathologic. Physiological may be related to heat, pathological may be related to autonomic disorders, rickets and other diseases, specific need to be examined in the hospital to be clear.
1. Physiological children’s sleep sweating may be related to heat: hot weather, sleep wearing more clothes or quilt is too thick, may lead to children’s body temperature rises, the body will sweat to cool down. It is recommended to open windows more often and reduce clothing when the weather is hot.
2. Pathologic children’s sleep sweating may be related to autonomic disorders, rickets and other diseases.
(1) Autonomic disorder: also known as autonomic nervous disorder. Usually manifested as anxiety, irritability, abnormal sweating, fainting, insomnia and so on. Vitamin B1, glutamine and other drugs to regulate autonomic function can be used under the guidance of doctors.
(2) Rickets: also known as vitamin D deficiency rickets. Early mainly manifested as excessive sweating, occipital baldness, irritability, night terrors and other non-specific neuropsychiatric symptoms. Oral vitamin D and calcium gluconate can be taken to control the condition and relieve the symptoms.
Specific causes of children’s sleep sweating need to be clarified after consultation and examination in the hospital. Drugs need to be used under the guidance of a doctor, do not take medication without authorization, so as not to delay the condition.
