Asymptomatically infected persons with neocoronavirus usually do not have sequelae and do not require treatment, but they need to be isolated and placed under medical observation. An asymptomatically infected person with neocoronavirus is one who tests positive for nucleic acid but has no signs or symptoms of neocoronavirus pneumonia. Neocoronavirus asymptomatically infected persons do not require treatment but need to be isolated and observed because neocoronavirus pneumonia asymptomatically infected persons are also contagious but usually do not have sequelae. Some asymptomatically infected patients with novel coronavirus develop symptoms during isolation and turn into confirmed patients with novel coronavirus pneumonia who require treatment. Whether or not this group develops sequelae is related to the subsequent progression of the disease, and the likelihood of remaining with significant sequelae is low if they are of the mild or common type. Most asymptomatic infected patients who have been without clinical signs and symptoms can, in principle, be released from quarantine after the 14-day quarantine period has expired and after two consecutive nucleic acid tests have been negative, with an interval between tests of more than 24 hours. For safety reasons, it is recommended that asymptomatic infected persons who have been released from quarantine should be isolated at home for 7 days, during which time they should do a good job of personal protection and home disinfection.
