Normal Values of Lipid Profile

The lipid panel refers to triglycerides, HDL cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, and total cholesterol, which have different ranges. Normal values for triglycerides range from 0.56 to 1.7 mmol/L. Normal values for HDL cholesterol are 1.00 mmol/L or higher. LDL cholesterol range is 3.12mmol/L or less. Total cholesterol should be in the range of 5.23 to 5.69 mmol/L. Note that people who have taken certain medications such as thyroid hormones, birth control pills, etc., may affect the results of the test, and people with a recent history of taking the above medications should not be tested for the time being.
