There is no such thing as “urging menstruation” in Chinese medicine. If the menstrual cycle is delayed for more than 1 week, or even once every 3 to 5 months, and the menstrual period is normal for more than 2 consecutive menstrual cycles, it is considered as late menstruation. You can choose to massage Sanyinjiao, Guilai, Qihai and other acupoints to assist in the treatment.
1. Sanyinjiao is on the inner side of the lower leg, 3 inches above the tip of the inner ankle, after the medial edge of the tibia. It can be used to treat abdominal pain, dysmenorrhea, irregular menstruation, dyspareunia, yin jiao (prolapse of the uterus or even out of the vaginal opening in women), infertility, spermatorrhea, impotence, oedema, pain in the yin area, headache, vertigo, insomnia and other diseases.
2. Gui Lai is 4 inches below the middle of the umbilicus and 2 inches beside the anterior median line. It can be used to treat abdominal pain, hernia, irregular menstruation, and yin ting (prolapse of the uterus or even prolapse from the vaginal opening in women).
3. Qihai is in the lower abdomen, on the anterior midline, 1.5 inches below the navel. It can be used to treat abdominal pain, enuresis, diarrhea, dysentery, irregular menstruation, dysmenorrhea, metrorrhagia (excessive or spotting menstruation) (excessive or spotting menstruation), postpartum hemorrhage, impotence, edema, asthma and other diseases.
Acupressure point massage can be done using thumb pressing and pointing, 20 to 30 times a minute.
If menstruation is delayed, it is recommended to consult a doctor in time to check whether there is pregnancy, menopause, etc. Massage should be operated under the guidance of a professional doctor, do not operate on your own, so as not to cause damage to the organism.
