What’s going on with the frequent muscle jumps?

Frequent muscle twitching may be caused by physiologic factors, or it may be caused by diseases such as motor neuron disease and multiple peripheral neuropathy.
1. Physiological factors: when excessive exercise, muscle fatigue may produce involuntary muscle twitching of the limbs. It is recommended to avoid sudden and strenuous exercise, take proper rest, and massage to relieve the symptoms if necessary.
2. Motor neuron disease: If muscle twitching is accompanied by muscle weakness and atrophy, it may be due to damage to the upper and lower motor neurons, resulting in stimulation of the anterior roots of spinal nerves, leading to frequent muscle twitching. It is recommended to seek medical treatment in time and under the guidance of physicians.
3. Multiple peripheral neuropathies: often occurring in the distal part of the limb, may be due to nerve demyelination causing symptoms, the patient may appear muscle bundle tremor, frequent muscle jumping, but also sensory abnormalities, such as numbness of the limbs, and so on.
If there is frequent muscle throbbing, you can go to the hospital in time for examination, to clarify the cause of the disease for targeted treatment, so as not to delay the condition.
