If something flies into the child’s ear, parents should not be too anxious to use an electric stick to cover the child’s ear canal. If the worms don’t come out, parents should go to the hospital. They can use alcohol or ether to anesthetize the worms first, and the child’s pain and fear will be significantly reduced, after which the worms inside the ear will be taken out under direct vision of the endoscope. If the child is too young to cooperate, or even if general anesthesia is required, parents must be prepared. Parents are advised to protect their children’s ears, avoid sleeping in tents, and pay attention to the hygienic environment of their homes to avoid bugs flying into the ears.
