The manifestations of peripheral nerve damage include the following aspects: first, sensory impairment, the sensory impairment after peripheral nerve damage is mainly symmetrical terminal sensory impairment of the limbs, some are numbness, hypesthesia, and some manifest sensory hypersensitivity, and some patients will show a gradual progression from the distal to the proximal end of the limbs. Secondly, in terms of movement, patients with peripheral nerve damage may have symmetric limb weakness, which also progresses from distal to proximal extremities. Third, some patients may also have autonomic impairment, such as flushed skin, excessive sweating or no sweating, brittle nails, easily flaking skin, and in some cases, bladder and rectal dysfunction.
