Is proteinuria treatable?

Proteinuria in general is not well treated. Proteinuria must find the cause of proteinuria, such as whether there is diabetes, nephritis, or acute pyelonephritis. If it is acute pyelonephritis, it will usually be relieved soon after anti-inflammatory treatment and drinking more water. If it is proteinuria caused by diabetes, this treatment is also more troublesome and should effectively control blood sugar and effectively reduce the level of blood sugar to prevent further damage of diabetic nephropathy. In the case of pyelonephritis or glomerulonephritis, an effective differential diagnosis must be made. Glomerulonephritis may have swollen eyelids; red and white blood cells in the urine; and swelling of both lower limbs. This condition should be further examined clearly in the nephrology department to determine what type of nephritis it is before effective treatment can be given.
