How to take care of your skin with psoriasis

Psoriasis requires skin care based on the following aspects: 1. Both psoriasis vulgaris and erythrodermic psoriasis can have the clinical manifestation of flaking. 2, topical drugs for psoriasis such as glucocorticoids, retinoid drugs and drugs such as carbostriol and tacalcitol have different degrees of influence on the epidermal barrier function. 3.Oral retinoic acid drugs can cause dryness and flaking. 4.Phototherapy can cause dry skin. 5.In particular, the latest research shows that certain microorganisms on the skin surface do not cause abnormal skin immune response on the normal skin surface, but when the skin barrier function is damaged, the microorganisms enter the dermis and can induce the immune response of the organism. Although the pathogenesis of psoriasis is not very clear at present, one thing is certain: the disease is an immune dysfunctional skin disease, therefore, the disruption of the epidermal barrier function is likely to induce or aggravate psoriasis. It can be seen that whether from the perspective of psoriasis treatment, fighting the side effects of drugs, or preventing relapse of the disease – the basis is moisturizing skin care. Usage: 1. When there are skin lesions, use moisturizer first, and then topical medication after 5-10 minutes; 2. When combined with phototherapy, first phototherapy then moisturizer; 3. After the skin lesions subside, medication can be discontinued (or gradually discontinued in about 2 weeks), but moisturizer can be applied for a long time – use moisturizer all over the body after bathing every night, especially in autumn and winter.
