Biting hard things is generally not recommended for patients with all-porcelain braces. 1. All-ceramic teeth are restorations made of porcelain powder sintered at high temperatures or made of preformed all-ceramic blocks cut and processed to cover all sides of a natural tooth crown. 2. Due to the brittle nature of porcelain, chewing hard things is prone to fracture and wear. Therefore, patients with all-porcelain braces are generally not recommended to bite hard things, including hazelnuts, fried soybeans, fried fava beans and other foods, are not recommended to eat too much. 3. It should be noted that for patients with glass-ceramic all-porcelain teeth, in order to achieve the strength requirements and prevent fracture, the tooth tissue that needs to be abraded is relatively large, and thus will have a certain amount of irritation to the pulp. Therefore, for permanent teeth with large pulpal cavities, root canal treatment is required before restoration, mainly to prevent the emergence of apical periodontitis. If there is any abnormality in the all-ceramic braces, it is recommended that patients go to a regular hospital and be treated under the correct operation of the doctor.
