The time it takes for prostatitis to return to normal on medication is not certain, as the time it takes for patients with different prostatitis conditions to take medication can vary, and so can the time it takes to recover.
The most important thing to remember is that if you have acute prostatitis, you will be able to return to normal in about two weeks after taking the medication.
But in the case of chronic prostatitis, as the condition develops over a longer period of time, the medication will take a longer time, and some patients with chronic prostatitis who are not in serious condition may be able to recover in a month or so after taking the medication.
Most of the prostatitis is caused by infection, so the clinical commonly used in the treatment of prostatitis is antibiotics, commonly used drugs such as ceftazidime, amoxicillin and so on. In order to achieve effective treatment as soon as possible, as well as reduce the symptoms of the condition, the patient must follow the doctor’s instructions to use the medication.
