Can you make up for a drop in progesterone with a shot?

A woman’s progesterone drops during pregnancy can partly be made up by injections. If the patient’s progesterone drop is not severe and the human chorionic gonadotropin secretion is normal, the patient’s progesterone level can usually be replenished by injecting progesterone drugs, allowing the embryo to develop normally. If the patient’s progesterone level has dropped particularly significantly, and the human chorionic gonadotropin level is very low, which cannot stimulate the body to produce enough progesterone, in this case the progesterone injections will not be able to replenish the progesterone. Women who experience a drop in progesterone levels during pregnancy must go to a regular healthcare facility in order to take effective measures.
