What’s wrong with abdominal pain while running?

Possible causes of abdominal pain while running include liver blood circulation disorder, respiratory muscle spasm, gastrointestinal tract spasm or dysfunction. Patients with the above symptoms need to go to regular hospitals for further examination and treatment to avoid delaying the condition and causing serious consequences.
1. Liver blood circulation disorder: when starting exercise, the preparatory activities are not sufficient to hasten to speed up and increase the intensity, so that the internal organs bear excessive load. Especially when the contractility of the heart muscle is poor, the cardiac output decreases or does not increase significantly, and the return of blood from the inferior vena cava to the heart is impeded, which further leads to the elevation of pressure in the inferior vena cava, and the blockage of hepatic venous return causes hepatic stasis.
The liver due to the increased volume of bruising, increase the tension of the hepatic peritoneum, so that the peritoneal nerves are involved, thus producing abdominal pain.
2. Respiratory muscle spasm: it may be due to the lack of attention to the coordination of respiratory rhythm and movement during exercise, and the lack of attention to deepening the breath, so that the respiratory muscle dysfunction, shallow and rapid breathing, uncoordinated contraction of respiratory muscles and too frequent, tense and spasm or microscopic injuries occur.
In addition, the preparatory activities are not sufficient, the cardiopulmonary function is not adapted to the needs of muscle work, so that the respiratory muscle hypoxia, so that the respiratory muscle spasm and exacerbate the occurrence of pain.
3. Gastrointestinal spasm or dysfunction: it may be that the blood flow is redistributed by the strenuous exercise, and the blood supply of gastrointestinal tract is affected, or due to various stimuli, such as participating in the activities too early after meals, eating too much, drinking too much (especially drinking too much cold drinks), and air stimulation during the exercise on an empty stomach, etc. All of them may cause gastrointestinal spasm, which may result in the pulling of nerves of the gastric wall and the wall of the intestinal tract and the occurrence of pain.
When abdominal pain occurs during running, you should gradually stop exercising, and if the pain is not relieved after proper rest, you should consult a doctor as soon as possible.
