Low back pain is not necessarily a kidney problem. Other causes include lumbar fasciitis, lumbar spinal stenosis, lumbar intervertebral disc herniation and so on. 1. Kidney disease: for example, when there is acute or chronic nephritis, kidney stones, etc., patients may have symptoms of back pain, which can be diagnosed by combining with renal ultrasound and other examinations. 2. Lumbar fasciitis: this disease is related to the strain of lumbar muscles, and the onset of the disease will be accompanied by back pain and other symptoms. 3. Lumbar spinal stenosis: the causes of this disease include ligamentous hypertrophy and osteophytes. Due to the compression of the nerve roots in the lumbar region, the patient will also have back pain, accompanied by walking limp and other symptoms. Diagnosis can be made by lumbar spine CT or MRI. 4. Lumbar intervertebral disc herniation: This disease is mainly caused by the rupture of lumbar intervertebral disc’s annulus medullaris, the nucleus pulposus protrudes and compresses the nerve root. At the onset of lumbar back pain, radiating pain in the lower limbs, combined with lumbar spine CT and other tests can be diagnosed. There are other causes of lumbar back pain, so patients are advised to go to the hospital and be treated according to their condition under the guidance of the doctor.
